We are not raising a round now.

GridPassport is currently bootstrapped. This is intentional.

We are building it carefully, in real homes, with real devices, real tariffs and real energy bills. We may raise one day, but not before the timing makes sense.

An analyst could place GridPassport near Home Energy Management Systems today. That is understandable. HEMS is the map people already have.

But HEMS usually means monitoring, dashboards, tariffs and narrow optimization around solar, an inverter and a battery. GridPassport is built for a different job: coordinating the serious hardware in the home as one system.

Our real category is Home Power Automation: solar, batteries, heat pumps, air conditioning, hot water and EV charging working around one home, one bill, comfort, savings and backup protection. That is why our mission and vision point beyond HEMS.

Panels, batteries, inverters, heat pumps, AC units and chargers are already serious machines. We have real respect for the companies that build them. The problem is not quality. The problem is that each device is optimized from inside its own product world.

As that hardware gets better and more widely available, the value moves toward the independent brain that can make it work together. GridPassport is built for that shift: not to replace the hardware, but to turn many good devices into one home outcome.

This is the first point in our manifesto: value is moving from the muscle of the hardware to the brain of the software.

GridPassport is meant to be in every home. Its price should be a fraction of the value it creates, so in the right home it feels unreasonable not to have one, the same way it is unreasonable not to have a fusebox.

The current idea is simple: an affordable device and a small subscription. We are starting narrow: inverters, batteries and now air conditioning. The first real deployment is promising evidence, not a universal savings promise. It is enough reason to keep building.

We are not fundraising right now.

But if GridPassport makes your eyes light up because you want it in your own home, we should know each other. Follow the project, read the first home data, and reach out before the moment becomes obvious.
