Compare daily electricity prices

Plan EV charging, battery charging and other flexible loads around lower-priced hours today; compare tomorrow where data is available. The chart uses modelled household estimates where comparable coverage exists, otherwise wholesale market prices. Check the selected day and price type below; these curves do not quote your supplier's tariff. For official half-year averages including taxes, seehousehold electricity prices by country.

Moving a load can change its import cost on a dynamic or time-of-use tariff. On a fixed-rate tariff, a lower wholesale price alone does not make that hour cheaper on your bill.

Spread, in money

The gap between cheap and expensive windows is the useful starting point for a timing decision. A constant per-kWh charge reduces their price ratio but leaves the absolute gap unchanged. Your tariff, taxes and any time-varying network charges determine the difference you actually pay.

Volatility

How much the curve moves. A household can use that timing signal if its tariff varies and some demand can move safely to a different hour.

Forecast confidence

Future windows are estimates. Low confidence should be treated as a hint, not a firm plan.

What you are looking at

Where a household model exists this shows a consumer estimate โ€” the modelled end-user price, never a bill or a quote. Otherwise it shows the wholesale market price, which is only one component of a household bill. The two are never drawn on one axis. For the country price level, seehousehold prices by country.
